Because it's February so I've got you covered in ELA

Whether you're looking for an academic resource with a specific February theme or want to focus on some skill work this month, I've got you covered.

Take a look at some resources that might help you.

  • February Word Searches include Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day and Black History Month.
  • February Activities Bundle includes the Candy Hearts Writing Activity listed below, plus 2 February-themed logic puzzles and a Color by Number review of apostrophes with plural and possessive nouns.
  • Valentine's Day Homonyms include task cards for review games, a classroom poster, Interactive notebook sheets, Valentine-themed writing paper, and a quick assessment.
  • Valentine's Day Color by Code has 31 Valentine-themed sentences with frequently misspelled words.  And of course, a picture to color in so you can tell at a glance if and where they struggled!
  • Candy Hearts Writing allows students to use paper hearts with sayings on them (because one year I forgot to buy them!) to help students write a poem, a letter, or a narrative short story.
